You are invited to attend the Annual CIAC Conference to be held March 26th and 27th at the Berkeley Marina Doubletree Hotel!

This will be your opportunity to learn what is new in articulation and to network with fellow articulation officers in a beautiful setting by the San Francisco Bay.

The registration form is ONLINE at the CIAC website: http://ciac.csusb.edu.  It provides a link to the hotel room reservation site set up for this conference.  It is a good idea to reserve your room as soon as possible since there are a limited number of rooms offered at our conference room rate.

We know many of you have expertise to share!  Calls for proposals for this conference will be coming out soon.

We look forward to seeing all of you in March!

  Conference Proposals: YOU ARE INVITED!

Both seasoned and novice CIAC members are invited to submit a proposal to present at the California Intersegmental Articulation Council Conference which will be held at the Berkeley Marina DoubleTree Hotel, March 26 – 27, 2015. Suggestions for breakout sessions are also welcome.

CIAC invites new and innovative presentations that address university and community college articulation and curriculum needs, as well as exploring challenges and innovations that impact transfer between community colleges and baccalaureate-granting institutions. If you have techniques or practices to share that address higher education’s transfer/articulation needs or that promote the articulation professional’s role in enhancing student transfer and success, please consider submitting a proposal. Proposals are also welcomed if you have done an extensive literature review on an articulation-related issue, have a new theory to propose or have conducted research.
When considering proposals, keep in mind that the CIAC Conference will support professional development for both the veteran professionals and new practitioners from four segments of higher education.
NOTE:
  • Individuals are welcome to submit more than one proposal; however, CIAC anticipates receiving more high-quality proposals than it may be able to accept.
  • Presenters are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
If you have a presentation that would contribute to the professional growth of colleagues, we welcome you!

Deadline to Submit Proposals: November 14, 2014-10-15
